Teachers use the LAMS approved Consensus Curriculum (revised summer 2007) to develop their individual class curriculum. This process provides teachers the flexibility in developing a learning program geared to the ability levels of their students in a given year. In 2007 LAMS begins with the SRI (Scholastic Reading Inventory) which provides a consistent whole-group test format for grades 1-12th and provides a Lexile measure and correlation to grade level ranges, as well as norm-referenced data.
